About this session
This short session will look at the growth and impact of corporate political contributions on our political life and our democracy. Tim Smith will interview Jason Teed, CEO of Prime Directive Analytics, a thoughtful analyst and writer on both political spending and lobbying. We will review trends in political spending and the implications for political decision making. After our interview with Jason, we will turn to our colleague Bruce Freed from CPA, who will outline an insightful new Primer released along with the Wharton Business School which details the risks companies face from political spending and how to manage them.
