Coalition to Protect PWC

Elena Schlossberg established the Coalition to Protect Prince William County, a 501(c)4 in December 2014 in reaction to a transmission line intended for a secret AWS Data Center campus on the edge of the Rural Crescent. The Coalition advocated for a partially buried hybrid route to protect homes, small businesses, and cultural and natural resources. As a respondent in the State Corporate Commission case for the AWS Haymarket Transmission line fight, the Coalition presented a novel application of a policy that would have forced AWS to contribute to their "extension" cord.
