Maxwell Homans

Maxwell Homans joined Mercy Investment Services as shareholder advocacy associate in 2023 and was named shareholder advocacy manager in 2025. Prior to joining Mercy, Maxwell interned with Friends Fiduciary, Fiduciary Trust International, and Ceres, conducting research on human rights, climate, and environmental justice issues for each firm’s advocacy engagements. His research also includes his undergraduate economics thesis analyzing the effect of corporate board policies on carbon emissions reductions for S&P 500 companies. Maxwell holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics and classical studies from Middlebury College.
