Paul Rissman is Senior Engagement Strategist at Formative Financial. He worked at AllianceBernstein as an analyst, portfolio manager, Director of Global Growth Research, and CIO of Alliance Growth Equities, and spent eight years on the firm’s Executive Committee. He is co-founder of Rights CoLab and Founding Partner of the Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures. He has served on nonprofit boards and is currently Director Emiritus of the Sierra Club Foundation. He was named an Open Society Foundations Fellow in 2019. He received his doctorate in anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania, and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
