Shahbano Soomro

Shahbano works in Sustainable Investment Research & Strategy within the Impax Sustainability Centre, partnering with investment teams to assess how structural trends, policy shifts and technological innovation shape risks and opportunities across portfolios. She leads Impax’s Sustainability Lens, guiding forward‑looking thematic analysis and company resilience assessments, with a focus on the financial impacts of climate‑related risks and opportunities. She also contributes to the firm’s wider sustainability strategy across climate, nature, people and governance. Previously, she advised governments, corporates and financial institutions on energy transition and sustainable finance at Vivid Economics and McKinsey. She holds degrees from Sciences Po and Oxford.
