Zaid A. Zaid

Zaid A. Zaid is a Senior Advisor at Orange Court Strategies and co-founder of Civic Guild, an organization connecting AI engineers at leading frontier labs with pro-democracy civil society organizations. He serves on the Tesari AI National Security Council, an AI-powered investigative intelligence platform focused on cross-border financial crime and national security. Previously, he served as Director and Head of U.S. Public Policy at Cloudflare, where he led the company's AI governance strategy, and as Head of Strategic Response Policy at Meta. Earlier, he served as Special Assistant to President Obama and Associate White House Counsel and as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer. He holds degrees from Columbia Law School, the Fletcher School at Tufts, and Georgetown University.
