Attending in person

Alexandra McPherson works across finance, industry, government, academia, and advocacy to turn dependency on hazardous chemicals, one of the economy's least-understood risks, into an opportunity to build markets for safer chemistry. As Director of the Investor Environmental Health Network at Clean Production Action, the nonprofit she co-founded, she helps investors treat chemical risk as financial liability. She co-leads the finance workstream supporting the UN Global Framework on Chemicals. Through academic partnerships with University at Buffalo and UMass Lowell, she co-authored peer-reviewed research on AI, PFAS, and safer materials. She holds a BA from UNH and completed Stanford GSB's LEAD program.
